What some good books that has romance and *** in it?

fortunehp asked:

I like to read books like that. I also like classic novels like Pride & Prejudice, Vanity Fair, etc. Oh and I also like novels like Stardust as well. I preferably would like the romance and *** though.

Books by Catherine Coulter and Nora Roberts. They both write romance, but Coulter has written more historicals. The strange thing is that both have broken into the mainstream popular field and were at the start of women romance writers making the best seller’s list.

I think coulter has a better sense of humor and is a bit steamier.

Sidney Sheldon wrote very interesting novels that have both mixed together; with a mystery thrown in - like The Other Side of Midnight.

Linda Howard writes some very good romances and romantic suspense novels like Dream Man; Kill and Tell; The MacKenzie family series starting with MacKenzie’s Mountain; Mr. Perfect.

Christina Skye has a great romantic suspense series - Draycott Abbey series. There are quite a few in the series including: Hour of the Rose; Bridge of Dreams; Bride of the Mist; Key to Forever; Season of Wishes; Christmas Knight; The Perfect Gift.

Jo Beverley has a Malloren family series that is very good and includes both. The series includes such books as My Lady Notorious; Tempting Fortune; Something Wicked; etc.

Mary Jo Putney has two series that I really loved that also fits your criteria. The first is The Fallen Angels series which includes: Thunder and Roses; Petals in the Storm; Dancing on the Wind; Angel Rogue; Shattered Rainbows and more. The second is the Silk series including Silk and Shadows; Silk and Secrets; Veils of Silk.

Shelly Thacker has some good books, too. One that I really loved is her medieval time travel called Forever His.

Loretta Chase has several I liked, too: The Lion’s Daughter; Lord of Scoundrels; Captives of the Night; The Last Hellion.

Catherine Coulter has a lot of books I really enjoyed. Her Sherbrooke Bride series - The Sherbrooke Bride, The Hellion Bride; The Heiress Bride, etc. - is excellent. I also enjoyed her Legacy series (The Wyndham Legacy; The Nightingale Legacy; The Valentine Legacy) and many others of her books.

Julie Garwood is another author that incorporates both; i.e., Prince Charming; For the Roses; Saving Grace; The Wedding; Honor’s Splendour.

I also enjoyed quite a few of Jude Deveraux’s books like her Velvet series with The Velvet Promise; Highland Velvet; Velvet Song and Velvet Angel.

There are any number of other really good writers whose books you may enjoy like Amanda Quick (who is also Jayne Ann Krentz); Mary Balogh; Catherine Anderson; Johanna Lindsey and Meagan McKinney.

Since you like Pride and Prejudice along with some romance and sex, I suggest that you pick up something by Julia Quinn. She is a historical romance author.

“The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever”

You may also like her Bridgerton Series.

Rachel Gibson has both romance and *** in her books. My personal favorite of hers is Truly Madly Yours! Her other books that I recommend are See Jane Score, Tangled Up In You, *** Lies and Online Dating, I’m not in the Mood for Love, and It Must be Love. I love all of her books but these are great starters.
Then another author I love is Kathy Love.Wanting Something More, Wanting What You Get, Getting what you want. These 3 books are part of a trilogy.
I hope that helps you find what you are looking for ;)

Hi. Saw this and thought I’d respond. Depends on what you’re looking for. Not classic lit, but there are a lot of ****** romance books out there now, a lot of which are going where a lot of the more mainstream romances don’t go. Not talking just kinky, but intriguing paranormals and futuristic romances you can’t find in every bookstore. Some are e-pubbed, some in print. Try checking out these quality publishers: ,, and. They let you read a blurb and excerpt, as well as give a “heat” rating, so you can see if you’d like the book or not. And feel free to check out, my website. :) I write ****** romance as well. Hope this helped.
Smiles, Marie
